What are programs and sessions?

The availability of Fitstar's personalized video workouts, known as sessions, depends on which app you're using and your Basic or Premium membership.

Fitstar Personal Trainer Programs

A program is a themed group of sessions tailored to your fitness level and ability. The Basic membership includes a free Get Moving program. The Premium membership includes three additional programs to choose from:
  • Get Strong
  • Get Lean
  • Daily Dose

You can change programs at any time—program progress is always waiting when you're ready to come back.

Before you begin a session you'll see an estimated duration, number of moves, and estimated calorie burn. To get an idea of what to expect in a session, tap or click a move to see a preview.

Fitstar Yoga Sessions

Fitstar Yoga provides personalized yoga sessions tailored to your fitness level and ability based the feedback you provide for individual poses. With a Basic membership one free session is available per week. Premium members can do unlimited sessions and customize the length and intensity of these sessions. To preview the poses, tap the gear icon in the top right corner of the app and choose Pose List.

Freestyle Sessions

Intended as a supplement to your Fitstar Personal Trainer program or Fitstar Yoga sessions, freestyle sessions are handcrafted, standalone sessions built around a central theme. These sessions don't adapt to feedback so may be too easy or too difficult depending on your fitness level. All freestyle sessions are available to Premium members. Basic members can access the freestyle sessions marked "Free."
